Hello. I have actually been writing during this hiatus. A lot. A few updates:
I will be graduating this Spring with my bachelors in Professional Writing. I have worked so hard to get this degree, and while I feel happy to be receiving it, it is definitely scary moving beyond college and into the "big girl" world.
I am currently writing my memoir. As silly as it sounds, it has been working out for me.
I wanted to write this journal as some advice for other young people in my position - those who want to write their true stories.

Hello everyone. It has been a very long time since I have posted. It has also been a very long time since I have had any time at all.
Since my last journal, I've been through a lot of ups and downs. My life has taken some sharp turns, but I am much happier and stronger for it. I beat my depression with some heavy meditation, exercise and making myself do the things I had always wanted or needed to do but never mustered up the courage to accomplish them. I now drive - I got my license in August 2013. I was fresh out of a breakup, and I guess what it took to make my life better was the "I'm-a-woman-scorned-and-on-a-goddamned-mission" hat (I mi

Depression is back. I love how I'm free of it for two years and then suddenly, the same old thing. It hits me like slamming door, and I suddenly don't want to do anything or be anything. I work towards these things regardless, it's just a bit disappointing since I thought I had beaten the stupid thing.
I'm back in school. Taking Children's Lit, Intro to Prose, Judaism, Christianity and Islam and Comp 1. It's a pretty full schedule but I like most of my classes (save for the religion one - it seems like this semester is going to be disorganized and full of more passionate, off the cuff remarks than rational discussion from students).
